All Polk county snowmobile trails were open at 6:00am on Sunday, December 18. Lake crossings are NOT safe! Do not cross any lakes. There may still be downed trees and branches on some trails. Please help clear branches/brush from trails. Please open gates if needed. Ride with CAUTION and stay on marked trails.

The warm weather has forced Polk County to close the snowmobile trails at midnight on February 7.
